Past Continuous Usage 8: With verb “wonder”

Past Continuous is used when we say “I/he/she …. was wondering.” “I was wondering”, followed by if or whether, make up a polite question or request.

WAS WONDERING - PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE

I was wondering If you could help me.

She was wondering if you could come and see her today.

I was wondering if you could come today.
