Future Simple Usage 8: After verb “think”

Future Simple Usage 8: after the verb “think,” we can use Future Simple to express our opinion on a future action.

 I think they will eventually compromise on this.

 I don’t think they will escape history’s judgment.

Note, we don’t normally say

 I think they will not escape history’s judgment.

Instead, we say

 I don’t think they will escape history’s judgment.
